New altar design and a complete reordering and internal redecoration of St Peters Church, Streatham, which included turning the whole church around 180 degrees! This enhanced the design of the original building by siting the choir to the rear, turning the entire congregation towards the sanctuary so that uninterrupted views could be gained of the imposing rose window.

We focused further attention on the rose window and dome by designing a raised sanctuary area to complement our new stone altar and stand for the Tabernacle. The alabaster font was dismantled and repositioned at seating level, closer to the congregation.

Works also included full interior lighting design, flooring, heating and decoration. We also restored the orial window and external brickwork to the West facade, carried out in conjunction with English Heritage.

A second phase of development transformed the former choir and sanctuary area at the East end with new stone steps, a new floor, cleaning of brickwork, internal decoration, stripping and renovation of existing paintings.

The final phase included a new entrance hall and extensions to the meeting area.
