New school halls, staff
rooms, kitchen, offices, disabled toilet, entrance and
reception within the Dulwich Village conservation
area.
The original buildings of
the 1960s school featured a series of pyramid roofs. This
feature has been reflected in the design of the main hall,
enhanced by an invisible bracing system and an open glazed
capping that dramatically brings in daylight. The front
entrance, simplified in design, is emphasised through a
single projecting red painted canopy which balances against
the natural slated roof.
